Changzhou SPL

Located in Changzhou, China approximately 2 hours west of Shanghai, our Changzhou SPL production site is a new state-of-the-art, fully validated cGMP compliant Heparin API manufacturing facility. The facility is located in an excellent industrial location near other pharmaceutical manufacturing sites and is operated by highly experienced and dedicated personnel.

It was constructed to exacting SPL design specifications. Heparin Sodium USP, produced at this site, was approved by the FDA in 2004 under a US NDA for import and use in the United States. SPL maintains a majority interest and management oversight in this facility and brings the same work processes and quality and regulatory compliance discipline which we have practiced so successfully in Waunakee for almost 30 years. Consistency and Quality across the globe is our aim, and we achieve it at Changzhou SPL!
